I have always loved playing feral games. Starting from Rome total War, to all of its expansion packs. Napoleon total war was where i fell off the wagon. Different tactics different setup, nothing terrible i could handle it. But this game has done absolutely nothing new. Which is honestly very unexpected by feral and extremely disappointing.The Interface is EXACTLY like napoleon total war but lamer. But the biggest thing that pisses me off above all, is the freakin text. I shouldnt have to be 4 inches from my screen to read a description. This game was a waste of 50 bucks. Major updates are needed. It lacks creativity, and a sense to capture any gamer. My suggestion: if its still a 1.0 dont bother wasting you’re money. Updates MUST be made.

Hello people and developers My name is Chris, I’ve been interested in this franchise for a while now. All my life I’ve been a console gamer, but now my horizons on gaming has been expanded now that I own multiple consoles and this mac computer. My mac book pro is the present 2014 edition and has the optimal specs for performance of this game. It’s dissapointing that when I play my game I can’t get passed the tutorial without it crashing. This has happen to me for about 4 times now and I dont want to continue any further. Not only do I see other people in the review section not having the same issue, but some people are running the game on older macs without any problems. Hopefully this reaches you since I’m not all to familiar on where I can put my problems. Hopefully one day an update or some sort of patch will fix the problem. Best wishes to everyone Chris

I have a Macbook pro from 2013. The game runs smoothly in almost every part. Some framerate issues can be seen when there are large number of units fighting in forests/strongholds. Some campaign features can be confusing for newcomers to the Total War Series, but with practice one can get good at it. The DLC’s are excellent and with the discounted price the game is in right now, this game is a must buy for RTS games. Overall great game.

Fun, game but crashes frequently. 2014 macbook pro 16gb ram, 2.6ghz processor. Please fix soon!!

I give it a 3 out of 5 only because due to the crashes, i can’t even play the game. I am a HUGE fan of the total war series and i am happy they finally ported it onto the mac. Hopefully the new update fixes all the issues andi will rate this a 5 out of 5.

my computer meets all the requirements. does not even start the game. spent hours redownloading and installing. waste of time contacted support weeks ago, no response last game I ever buy from Feral, and will not recommend to anyone

I just noticed that there is only single player mode and my friends who bought their’s not from app store had multiplayer as well, so are you trying to tell me i wasted my $49.99 for nothing. I hope that the app store can fix this problem asap. Plus when my friend’s buy theirs on other places such as steam, it includes multiplayer options.

Game looks cool, lots of stuff going on from what I can tell but I can’t complete a single battle because it crashes each time. Every. Single. Time. Unless you like throwing money away avoid this game.

I am a big fan of the total war game series. But this game is complete waste of money as you can’t play the game without crashing. It crashes so often that it is not playable after a few turns. I wish I could get my $50 refunded!!!!

This game was fun when it worked but eventually began crashing all the time on me. No feed back from the developers of the game after sending inquaries and now it has become useless to me. I would suggest not buying it.

The game crashes after one battle or in the middle of my first one which is disappointing because my new macbook pro can run another total war game, but not this one? This game needs an update soon or I will not be buying any other total games on the app store.

The game itself is extremely enjoyable yet it seems to crash when very important parts of the game occurs. If the simple crash issues were solved then the game would be fantastic.

Playing on a macbook pro less than a year old, also have an iMac. this game crashes everytime i try to start a battle….every…time…

Purchased but eight hours later the download is frozen at 0 kb and will not resume. Obviously will be seeking a refund.

Downloaded it and won’t even start. Don’t waste your money till they fix it.

I played this game in the windows as well and it works great in my apple computer. I finished a long campaign and I never had issue with crashes. Recommended.

Shogun 2 is ridiculously addicting. I’m one of the few people who it doesn’t crash for every two minutes, so it’s safe to say that I have a much better opinion of the game. The battles are fantastic, although the AI could probably be a little smarter. The graphics are unreal, the background noise is spot-on, and the play-by-play for the turns has me hooked. If you can somehow get it to not crash on you (I have no idea what’s going on there), then you’ll probably love the game.

This game seems amazing when i get it to work long enough to expiriance it. i am playing on a 2015 macbook air with the i7 processor and 8gb of ram so it has the specs that the game requiers but yet it still has crashed a dozen times in less than an hour. ive sent out crash reports on all of these and i get this is version 1.0 but please come up with an update soon because i dont think a game that costs $50 should have this many issues to the point its basically unplayable. please fix the crashing and this will be an easy 5 star game

Just downloaded it the day before yesterday. No idea why it crashed all the time. It is not a recenlty released game, why would it crash so many times on my Mac? I tried to find solutions online but no luck. Wish I had not purchased this game in the beginning.

I keep on getting an error when downloading. It stops at around 70%. Please fix soon or I’ll need to get a refund.
