There is no multi-player on this game. You can only access multi-player by downloading this game from another party. Apple was kind enough to refund me!

This is a fun game however my computer overheats rapidy even though i have a late 2014 retina with 16 gb of ram with intel i7 processor, also the battery drains in less than a hour. Those are the only concerns (or negetive thought’s of the game) other than that the game is fun and entertaining. I have not experienced any crashes or errors while playing.

I waited for 6 months ，now I can be the shogun of Japan ！

It is crashing very often on my mac pro with the new OS. It is an awesome game but driving me crazy with the crash prob.

I have a brand new imac with 32 gb of memory. I really thank the auto save feature. I have to replay battles constantly as the battle crashes so much its getting frustrtating, especially when I am crushing. I must say I like the total war franchise as a whole but this game has turned me off a bit.

It Crashes all the time on my new 13” i7 Macbook Pro!!! Dont get it, Its a waste of time and money!!!

Love the game and interface, its crashes frequently! Hopefully they fix this soon otherwise I would give it a much higher scores.

This game constatantly crashes…. My advise is to STAY AWAY.

Downloaded this game and about two minutes in I had my first crash…. Then it crashed 10 minutes in…. I will be contacting Apple to try and get my money back. Garbage. How can they sell a game that crashed non-stop??

Beautiful looking game, but cannot get more than 15 minutes without the game crashing on my upgraded Mac Book Pro retina I purchased a few weeks ago (Nov ’14). Did the suggested actions for turning down the graphics to help performance, but still crashes…..all the time. Passed the compatibility test prior to purchasing, I feel like such a fool :(

When launch the game, the option window will pop out. And once you finish setting the perference, then nothing will happen, no game, no everthing. The icon of the game will still stay on the dock indecate it is runing not crashing. But the game won’t show up. And the worst of all is that I can’t quit the game. I have to force to quit the game. Really disappointing!

Prior to purchasing my copy I was concerned about the performance because of all the negative reviews regarding crash issues. I’m running this game on a late 2013 model 15’’ macbook pro, and so far the game’s been running perfectly. Grant it that it does takes up a lot of resources, and the learning curve for the game mechanism is quite steep. Good game after all. Recommended.

I was so excited for this game and it only works for ten seconds before crashing every time. Please fix this or give me my $50 back

Before the update of July 8, I was able to play even with the multiple crashes. Now, my computer is no longer compatible and I can no longer open the game. I am really thinking that I have wasted my money.

ゲーム自体は面白そうですが起動から10分程度で必ずクラッシュします。 海外のフォーラムでも同じような症状に悩む人が多くいましたが、 原因は retinaディスプレイのIntel Graphics Car driverとの相性が悪いことだそうです。 （mac shogun2 crash とかで検索するとでてきます） メールで問い合わせた人によると開発元FERALが現在パッチを製作中とのことですが、見たところまだ公開はされていないようですね。 retinaを使っている方はアップデートをFERALのサポートページで確認した後に購入したほうが良いと思います。

If you have a crap computer it will not download. If you have a good computer it will run fine. Thank you.

Alright so after reading all the negative reviews I was hesisitant to buy the game. I decided to just go for it and I am definitely pleased! The game hasn’t crashed, hasn’t quit on me, and the campaign/auto-resolve works great. I’ve noticed that the battles(large ones) are kind of laggy but only when you fast forward. I’ve also only used the medium settings for graphics, I’ll have to try high quality later. Hopefully this review eases some people’s minds. So far the game is really fun and I cannot wait to play more. Enjoy!

I play on a 2010 macbook pro that practically coughs out dust everytime I turn it on, and yet it still runs the game beautifully on the campaign map, and can chug along on med/low seeting on the battle map, where honestly, the graphics are remiscient of a slightly enhanced Rome Total War. This is an incredibly fun game and even though it’s crashed several times and I have noticed a few glitches so far, my macbook doesn’t support the game and I imagin that is largely responsible. This is an exceptional game, and though I think it’s over priced, it’s as great a pickup as you can get on the Appstore.
